Sur Hotel Sultanahmet Istanbul

This hotel is truly a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The location is perfect, situated in a quiet alley right in the center of Old City-Sultanahmet. Despite being centrally located, it is surprisingly peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The panoramic view from the rooms is simply breathtaking, especially with the romantic view of the Blue Mosque or the stellar view of the Bosphorus. Additionally, breakfast on the terrace offers a beautiful view, creating a wonderful start to the day.

Everything exceeded my expectations, no improvements needed.

The hotel's location is perfect, as it is close to all the touristy areas in Sultanamhet and right in the historical center. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet alley, which adds to its charm. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, offering great views of the hotel's rear terrace. The staff provides exceptional service, making guests feel welcome and well taken care of. The breakfast served on the terrace is of high quality, and the hotel offers facilities such as computer access and a friendly atmosphere.

The hotel may not meet everyone's expectations in terms of luxury, as some rooms may be outdated and in need of refurbishment.

Excellent location, within walking distance to many historic sites and the tram. Lovely views, especially from the rooftop where breakfast is served. Helpful and friendly staff, providing directions and recommendations.

Noise from the trains passing by the hotel, especially if the room is located on the side facing the railroad track. Some maintenance issues in the room, such as peeling paint and black mold on the bathroom ceiling.
